Rexford Kitchen

Thursday, March 28th, 2013

This kitchen was part of a home remodeling project that included a large mud room, new pool and patio, a pool house, new hardwood floors and trim details throughout the home. What a remarkable difference in the quality and appearance of this kitchen! Originally it was “plain jane” oak cabinetry and basic counters. Now, it’s a gem with high end white cabinetry, stacked moldings and natural stone counters. Under cabinet LED lighting provides just the right ambiance while recessed lighting handles the everyday illumination. The island features our custom touches to give it that “furniture look”. This was a stunning example of how nice a medium size kitchen can become.

Cozy Clifton Park Addition

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

It’s easy to see why our client has made this their favorite room in their home!   With warm hardwood floors, a beautiful stone fireplace, and stunning architectural details this space just begs for a hot cup of coffee and a good book!  The classic styled columns welcome you into the room when entering from the formal living room and a low maintenance Trex composite deck resides just outside the exterior door for those warm summer nights.  For entertaining, there is also a wonderful paver patio for cookouts and extra room for guests.  This is a great example of how an efficient use of space in a smaller yard can really make a difference in the enjoyment factor of a home.

Clifton Park Cherry Kitchen

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

This home had an existing original kitchen, common throughout Clifton Park, which was actually still in decent shape.  The homeowners, however, were ready for a change!  We completely renovated the space including new recessed lighting, beautiful new cherry cabinets, quartz counters, a gorgeous tile backsplash, new sink and faucet, and medium toned cherry hardwood flooring.  We also removed the old wallpaper from the walls and repainted the entire space.   This is a good example of the difference new cabinetry and counters can make without changing the basic footprint of the kitchen.

Malta Kitchen Makeover

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

This townhome in Malta was in dire need of updating when it’s new homeowner called us for help!  The original homes’ kitchen, shag carpeting, trim (which had seen it’s share of abuse from previous owners over the years), and paint was at the end of its life.  The original design also had the kitchen closed off from the rest of the home creating a very tight galley style work area.  We gutted the kitchen, removed all of the old carpeting and trim, and made the impeding wall into a great new ½ wall counter serving area.  We then painted the entire home as well as installed a completely new kitchen and lighting.  Fresh new colonial style trim and new 6 panel doors were installed throughout the home to bring it up to date.  The difference was tremendous!
